How you can help…
We rely on people like you to support the work that we do with torture survivors. There are a number of ways that you can help, and we are also open to your suggestions as well. Please contact Dr Orlando Tizon, TASSCs Helping Hands coordinator, for more information.
- Basic Human Support: Many survivors need basic assistance, such as housing, food, or basic hygienic items, and more.
- Legal Support: Many survivors need the assistance of attorneys to get approval for political asylum.
- Medical and Dental Support: Many survivors need the assistance of medical professionals to help them heal and to document their injuries.
- Psychological / Alternative Healing Support: If you are a psychologist, psychiatrist, or specialize in an alternative healing technique, we need your help.
- Make a Donation: Your financial assistance allows us to expand the scope and depth of the services we offer to survivors.
- Organize a House Party: Parties are a great way to raise awareness and funds to help our efforts.
